Tom Tom Fashions was started when a stylist from Patricia Field's Hotel Venus spotted the designer wearing one of his own creations at a party. Six hand made, one of a kind pieces, quickly flew off the rack, including a micro-mini skirt, purchased by the one and only Lil' Kim.

Tom Tom was born and raised on the mean streets of Chelsea, in Manhattan. Tom Tom attended FIT in 2003, but after a striking whirlwind of personal drama, Tom Tom ditched school. Tom Tom walked away from FIT, with no intentions of returning, because his vision of fashion was implausibly eccentric and beyond their curriculum - in other words, Tom Tom is pretty fucked up.

At the sweet and tender age of 21, Tom Tom's work has been used on television, in music videos, and print. The designs can also be seen on some of New York City's most outrageous nightlife luminaries including "the #1 transsexual in the world, with a fully fuctional vagina", Amanda Lepore.
